Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy

DriveVeo respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), we will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement on our platform.

Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that content on DriveVeo infringes your copyright, please submit a written notification containing the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including the URL or other specific location on our platform
  4. Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, and email address)
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification containing:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district

Repeat Infringers

DriveVeo will terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

Good Faith

Please note that misrepresentations in a DMCA notice or counter-notification may result in liability for damages under the DMCA. Please consult with an attorney if you are unsure whether your rights have been infringed.
